TEAM LEADER - CPP TEAM, KABUL (AUSTRALIAN NATIONALS)

JOB DETAILS

We are seeking suitably qualified, experienced Australian candidates to be considered for addition to our Standby List for forthcoming opportunities - 

The TL will be responsible for planning and managing Team movements. Responsibilities will include the following. 

• Liaising with the client prior to tasks being carried out.
• Managing reconnaissance
• Planning operations (in collaboration with intelligence personnel and relevant parties)
• Briefing and commanding the team 
• Conducting team training 

Essential requirements for role - 

Hard Skills 

• A minimum of 5 years military/law enforcement experience. Excellent record of conduct. 
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Close Protection or PSD role - at least 2 of which should have been in a high risk environment. 
• Recognised CPP qualifications obtained through military/police or registered private sector training. 
• Knowledge of Electronic Countermeasures equipment
• First Aid in Remote Situations competency standard (Minimum HLTAID005) 
• Clean Criminal Record
• Armoured vehicle licence

Soft Skills 

• Problem solving and leadership skills
• Able to demonstrate previous experience in leadership and team management. 
• Able to communicate effectively between multiple levels of management (internal and external)
• Mental health awareness/first aid training

Desirable 

• Previous experience in Afghanistan, working in similar capacity 
• Knowledge of local languages
• Previous experience in a diplomatic environment
• Paramedic science diploma
