Security Operations Manager

Salary: £55,000 + Car/Car Allowance, benefits

Location: UK – Candidate location is reasonably flexible

 

Are you a security management professional who excels at building relationships, leading a team and providing a quality focused security service?

This is an opportunity to manage the delivery of operational security across several corporate UK locations. This growing security services provider are looking to appoint an accomplished security management professional that can advise on security related policy, engage and build relationships with stakeholders and lead a team of Security Managers.

 

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Strong operational security management experience. The role will see you lead a small team of Security Managers across the UK.
  • A track record of effective stakeholder engagement with the ability to positively influence and act as a trusted partner and security advisor
  • An experienced security practitioner with the ability to provide subject matter advise and guidance on policies/strategy relating to managing risk & incident management planning.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets
  • Happy working for a security service provider
  • SIA license holder
  • Full driving license

 

Key duties and responsibilities will include

  • Leadership and direction of the operational security function across several key UK sites
  • Regular site visits across UK office locations
  • Quality and compliance checks
  • Post incident security reviews
  • The management of contract SLAs and KPIs
  • People management – provide inspirational leadership to direct reports and the wider security teams
  • Regular stakeholder meetings to ensure maximum client satisfaction
  • Provide expert security advise to senior stakeholders relating to risk, counter-terrorism, crisis management etc.
  • Strive for continuous development across the security function and strive to create an industry leading security department
  • Lead on projects related to the improvement and capability of security teams
