Salary: Up to £43k + Benefits + Overtime opportunities

Location: Canary Wharf/East London

Hours: 4 on 4 off (Day shifts, 6am – 6pm)

This opportunity will see you manage a team of security officers in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The position offers an excellent salary, benefits package and the opportunity to work with an innovative and forward thinking security department.

We are looking for a security professional with proven incident management experience who is able to lead and develop a team in a dynamic environment.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience managing the delivery of operational security
  • SIA Licensed (DS or CP)
  • Proven incident management experience 
  • An experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop staff
  • Experience implementing security strategy
  • A passion for service excellence
  • Experience of influencing senior stakeholders
  • Hold a full driving license

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of site security
  • Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
  • Staff training and development
  • The management of major incidents
  • Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings and information
  • Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
  • Oversee the delivery of control room services
  • Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
  • Undertake risk assessments
  • Liaise with emergency services when required
  • Management of control room services
  • Management of 3rd party suppliers
