Commercial Director (Manned Guarding)

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 + commission, potential equity plan.  

Location: City of London

A growing and ambitious provider of security solutions is looking to appoint a Commercial Director to impact growth across London. This is a unique opportunity where there is long term potential for equity in the business.

 

The focus of the role is to develop new business opportunities across the London corporate security market. You should have a track record of winning business with either corporate, commercial and property management companies. You will ideally have sold security services (manned guarding) but we are open to hearing from candidates with a similar track record in the wider facilities management industry.

 

 

Experience required:

 

  • Applicants must have a proven track record of winning new business within the UK manned guarding sector or wider FM sector.
  • Target focused with a track record of generating new business and confident carrying a multi-million pound target.
  • A strong networker who enjoys attending industry networking events such as the Security Institute, ASIS etc.
  • A proven track record of exceeding personal targets

 

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Responsibility for new business development. You will carry a personal sales target and be adept at engaging clients across the corporate and commercial sectors.
  • Formulation of sales strategies to increase revenue generation
  • Deliver against annual sales and growth targets
  • Implementation of a cohesive sales strategy
  • Provide support to team members on complex bids/tenders.
  • Strategically develop new clients to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Attendance at industry networking events – Security Institute, ASIS etc.
  • Undertake regular client meetings to fully understand their business challenges and opportunities
