SECURITY OFFICERS SIA LICENSED- AYLESBURY, UK

JOB DETAILS

We are currently looking to add SIA licenced Security Officers to our operations team based in the Aylesbury and willing to travel within a 15 mile radius. We are an equal opportunities employer. 

The position will require the successful candidate to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers by patrolling and monitoring their premises and personnel. This position is for a long-term contract with the client and requires the candidate to work on a 4 on 4 off roster pattern which includes days, nights and weekends.

Roles and Responsibilities

 

• To conduct regular, highly visible patrol of the premises
• Checking staff, contractors and visitor ID cards
• Controlling authorised access/egress of pedestrian and vehicular traffic on and off site
• Writing Reports
• To effectively deal with all incidents falling within the security remit and to report all incidents to the relevant authority
• Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence
• Managing logbooks and reports by recording observations, occurrences and surveillance activities
• Provide a locking service, locking doors and gates as require
• Protect property against destruction, damage and theft

Desirable

• Proven work experience as a Security officer or equivalent position
• Experience of delivering excellent Customer Service
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Be reliable

Licences:

• A valid SIA licence frontline Essential
• A driving licence Essential
• Traffic Marshall trained Preferred

• Experience is not essential as full training will be given

Hourly rate is £10.16
