Security Control Room Supervisor
Rate of pay: £24.37 per hour (circa £53k)
Location: Slough
Shift pattern: 4on / 4off (covering days, nights & weekends). 4 days (0700-1900), 4 off, 4 nights (1900-0700), 4 off.

 

 

Applicants must have strong security control room experience and hold a SIA license. This is a tremendous opportunity to lead a security control room team in a dynamic environment.

 

We have a vacancy for a Supervisor to manage a busy and professional security control room in Slough. Applicants must hold an SIA license and have previous experience working in a multi-functional security control room environment with CCTV, intruder and access control systems.

Your role will include the monitoring of security systems, supervision and training of staff and responding to emergency incidents.

 

Duties:

  • Responsible for managing a multi-functional security control room consisting of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
  • The Supervision of a team of security control room operators and ensuring a customer focused service is maintained at all times
  • Ensure compliance with Assignment Instructions
  • Ensure that all shifts are sufficiently scheduled and staffed
  • Undertake daily briefings with the security management team
  • Identify and remedy any shortfalls in the security of the facility.
  • Provide training and guidance to Security staff
  • Oversee the issuing of security passes to the site.
  • Effective incident management
  • Provide regular reports to the Site Security Manager
  • The response and resolution of emergency situations

 

 

Essential criteria:

  • Hold an SIA license (frontline)
  • Strong prior experience working in a security control room environment
  • Experience leading a team in a dynamic and customer focused environment
  • The ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
  • The ability to manage emergency situations
