The Intelligence Analyst opening is a full-time opportunity that is based in Mexico City, MX. The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for contributing to the development and production of intelligence-driven decision support products that assess risks and opportunities around our people, operations, strategy, brand and reputation. The Intelligence Analyst is tasked to perform in a manner that will support the Team mission of enabling business by protecting life safety, critical assets and managing risk with a diverse, innovative, partner-oriented team. The candidate should be an intelligence practitioner who has a passion for analysis, problem-solving and advising decision-makers.
Roles and responsibilities
Take responsibility for their assigned tasks
Support all aspects of the intelligence process. Collect and research information to develop intelligence products in support of the operational environment
Proactively provide information and maintain monitoring on current and future threats
Communicate with various stakeholders regarding intelligence requirements
Work to support their supervisor and the Client to ensure mission success. Ensure that their efforts are aligned and supporting the Client core values and strategic objectives
Be available on a 24-hour basis to confer with security staff about security related issues
Work closely with other security groups, developing relationships with and evangelizing to internal and external partners
Compose written reports relevant to identified risks and impact to the business
Demonstrate strong planning, organizing and follow-up skills
Demonstrate excellent communications skills, both written and oral
Demonstrate effective scope, expectation and change management skills
Effectively escalate and manage issues upwardly
Demonstrate problem-solving, judgment, negotiating and decision-making skills
Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Maintain high degree of confidentiality and discretion
Be able to use a personal computer, as well as other technologies and equipment
Participate in Team meetings as required
Maintain reliable transportation
Maintain good credit standing
Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years-experience in an Intelligence related capacity in a corporate/private/Government setting
Relevant degree e.g. International Relations, Intelligence Studies, International Security Studies or equivalent experience working as an intelligence analyst or in a related field
Language Requirements: Fluency in Spanish required; additional proficiency in Portuguese preferred
Team oriented
Good analytical judgment and ability to identify how geopolitics and international security concerns impact multinational corporations
In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical and international security environment in the North and Latin American regions
Ability to think critically, write objectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to write clearly, simply, and compellingly in English
Ability to complete assignments independently at proscribed deadlines
Be comfortable in a remote team working environment
Able to build good relationships internally/externally and establish credibility quickly
Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage own time
Ability to take initiative and pro-actively deal with routine matters and work with limited supervision in a pressured environment
Must have reliable means of transportation
