Responsibilities & Expectations
- Oversee daily operations and provide logistical support at the Client office.
- Maintain connectivity with Client sites in different locations, as needed.
- Secure and protect all of Client’s company assets, including people, facilities, and property.
- Provide close protection services and event coverage, as needed.
- Actively monitor a wide network of security alarms and cameras to identify and resolve threats.
- Control access by monitoring security systems, maintaining logs, and managing access authorization lists.
- Detect, investigate, and deny access to unauthorized individuals.
- Perform regular security and threat assessment audits and escalate findings to Client management.
- Assist clients with low- to mid-level concerns, including but not limited to security escorts and general building assistance.
Emergency Response
- Respond to on-site medical incidents, as necessary. (Medical training will be provided.)
- Serve as a dispatch center for security and medical incidents, including coordinating response, contingency plans, monitoring, and tracking.
Incident Management & Reporting
- Interact with a variety of people on a regular basis and verbally de-escalate any confrontations as necessary.
- Recognize safety hazards and security vulnerabilities and escalate findings to Client management.
- Serve as primary center point for disseminating information regarding security-related incidents.
- Actively monitor local incidents and security concerns to develop preventative measures.
- Effectively use Client-provided computer systems, including but not limited to running Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, to complete reports and audits.
- Complete all paperwork and reports as necessary.
Additional Requirements
- Proficient in written and conversational spoken English and German. (English will be the primary language on-site.)
- Paragraph 34a certification required.
- Demonstrated strong operational judgment and exceptional results in a client-service role.
- Professional, friendly, and positive communication style.
- Relevant professional or military experience providing physical security, surveillance, emergency response, incident management, and access control.
- Aptitude for clear and effective written and verbal directions and clarifying information under time-sensitive conditions.
- Ability to establish priorities, multi-task, work independently, and complete objectives in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be able to pass our background check.
- Must be authorized to work and drive in Germany.
- Must meet minimum physical requirements to fulfil essential functions of the position. Associates are required to deter security risks and respond to emergencies; consequently, they may be asked to engage in physical responsibilities, such as walking, running, and lifting at least 23 kilograms.
