The FSO/Senior Security Lead is responsible for ensuring that all cleared employees are compliant with the National Industrial Security Program, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, JAFAN 6/0, as well as Intelligence Community Directives and Program Guidance (ICDs and ICPGs). The FSO/CSSO will manage, oversee, and provide expert opinion and actions on matters concerning national security compliance as it relates to the NISPOM, DCSA and other government agencies. This position will also assist IT personnel in providing security support for classified networks through government sponsors. Manage all roles and responsibilities of the FSO regarding the management of an accredited SCIF. As the Lead on-site Security Specialist, the person in this role must be able to manage office functions and train or task junior staff as required. Strong program security experience with multiple customers is required to understand the complexities of each customer and their unique clearance processing protocols.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete required data reports for both customers & internal personnel as required
- Provide classified processing systems support to IT department
- Maintain security database, internal database and JPAS/DISS maintenance/management when needed
- Ensure that our company is compliant with all DCSA/CAF, and other government customer requirements
- Develop policies and procedures as it pertains to the NISP; conducts NISP briefings
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and perform duties pertaining to government customer requirements
- Communicate effectively with the Senior Director of Security, company lead Senior Security Manager and Security Team
- Assist in security compilations, quality assurance maintenance, and member of response team for Secure Space alarms
- Assist with DD254 requests and tracking for prime and sub-contractor companies
- Travel to our Herndon office as needed to support the Senior Director of Security
- Perform all related duties associated with managing and maintaining accredited space(s)
- Maintain strong understanding of access control and alarm system response; issuance and controlling of badges and credentials
- Conduct and prepare Self-Inspection reports in accordance with government criteria
- Conduct investigations into security incidents/violations; ensure corrective action(s) is initiated and violations are reported
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 6 years FSO experience
- Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility, willingness to submit a polygraph if required
- FSO Certification for possessing facility
- Extensive PERSEC experience
- Must have solid knowledge of all security policies and procedures and ability to interpret security requirements and apply them consistently across diverse situation
- Must have solid knowledge of all general functions and substantial understanding of policies and procedures to include the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)< National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual Supplement (NISPOMSUP), National Security Agency (NSA) Industrial COMSEC Manual, 90-1, specific Program Security Directives
- Must have solid knowledge and application of DISS (previously JPAS)
- Six years or more minimum industrial Security work experience; to include strong physical security and personnel security experiences; with multiple customers

Desired Qualifications:
- •Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Experience in managing and maintain FCL and requirements association with facility accreditation; ICD 705/ICS 705 and respective
- • Program Security experience desired (CSSO course)
- • Strong COMSEC background
