The Director will support and develop and implement global physical security risk management strategy, associated programs, and underlying policies and procedures, while working locally in West Palm Beach, FL, and while traveling.

Location:West Palm Beach, FL

Salary is based on experience, training and other related qualifications

Experience (Years):5+

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Executive protection for business and personal travel for principal and family members based in West Palm Beach (WPB)
  • Occasional driving in WPB area
  • Pre travel risk assessments
  • Threat and vulnerability management and assessments
  • Cyber security assessment and special projects • Geo fencing services for family members and key locations
  • Major event security planning and staffing
  • Assessments of current security systems at all homes and project management of future security systems
  • Corporate security assessments and advice for family offices in Chicago and WPB
  • Security standard and process development
  • Medical equipment reviews for homes, offices, aircraft, and yacht
  • Private aircraft/marine security planning, logistics and implementation
  • Provide driving and firearms training to principal and family members
  • Manage, guide and continue to develop a broad risk mitigation strategy for the Principal, the family and the    family organization
  • Build and maintain relationships within the family organization and the broader ecosystem.
  • Responsible for defining, developing and implementing processes, procedures and best practices
  • Communicate, present and field questions from the Principal, the family and the family organization
  • Lead cross-division functional projects that impact the organization's long-term goals and objectives
  • Understand and manage operational budgets, financial reporting and ad-hoc services.
  • Collaborate with external partners to include HR, Legal, Finance
  • Foster teamwork and communication across the family ecosystem
  • Responsible for developing goals and objectives that are consistent with agreed strategies
  • Quality management of programs, training and other resources
  • Comfortable presenting to the Principal, the family and the family organization
  • Domestic and International travel

Job Requirements:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree preferred. Be physically fit and possess a valid driver's license. Extensive military, corporate security, at least 5 years’ experience, is required. Applicant should possess excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills, have high levels of integrity, and trustworthiness.

  • A graduate of a reputable executive protection training school desired
  • Experience and understanding of corporate culture
  • Extensive medial experience (EMT, First Responder, 18D, Paramedic, Navy Corpsman) desired
  • Experience with after action report writing
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Strong base knowledge in all facets of protective operations
  • Advanced understanding of technology-based protective applications
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Will maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
