Security Officer

Location: Llantrisant, Pontyclun

Rate: £13 per hour

Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days, Nights & Weekends) 0700 - 1900 / 1900 - 0700. Guaranteed hours contract (42 hours per week average minimum)

Are you SIA licensed with good customer service skills?

We have 8 vacancies available for SIA Licensed Security Officers at a construction development in Llantrisant. These roles have long term progression opportunities when the site is completed potentially leading to site Supervisor positions.

Essential criteria:

  • Must hold a valid SIA license
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Full driving license / own transport preferred due to the location of the site.
  • Happy working in a construction environment

Duties to include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the site in a polite and customer focused manner
  • Manage access control to the site
  • Issuing passes to visitors and staff members
  • Internal and external patrols
  • Operation of security systems
  • Produce accurate and comprehensive incident reports
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Work in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
  • Respond to emergency situations
